BIRKLUB & I HAVE A TIGER PRESENT: COPY OF ‘98

How time flies! It seems only yesterday that we posted the last BIRKlub contribution to our “Beck-Odelay” cover project… but the date on the post tells me it was actually almost 2,5 years ago!

Several tracks on here were performed by artists from a mighty fine Antwerp record label called I HAVE A TIGER. And in the fine tradition of “what goes around, comes around”, that same label got back to me this summer asking if I was willing to coördinate another BIRKlub cover project for them, this time with a cd-release attached. And boy, was I willing! I was willing like Little Feat.

So here we are, six months later… and IHAT together with BIRKlub are proud to present to you: ‘COPY OF ‘98′, a cover album of the ‘98 Belgian cult classic ‘Berchem’ by Dead Man Ray – to be released on april 8 2013 (from moment of writing: that’s one week from now!). It will be available on CD (just like the original! We’re very thorough you know…) as well as digital through select online shops.

I might be doing some more posts on the project, the artists and the background of the album, but for the moment we focus the promotion of ‘Copy Of ‘98′ on the I Have A Tiger website. So direct your browser in that direction, and see what audiomatic richness we have to offer!
